Course Description:

The virus that causes COVID 19 can land on surfaces. It’s possible for people to become infected if they touch those surfaces and then touch their nose, mouth, or eyes. In this short course you will learn basic procedures for cleaning and disinfecting your facility.

Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
- Demonstrate best practices for cleaning and disinfecting public spaces to reduce the risk of infection
- Define the differences between disinfecting and cleaning
- Apply safe work practices to decrease risk of infection from surface
- Implement safe and correct use and storage of cleaning and disinfectant products, including storing such products securely and using PPE needed for the cleaning and disinfection products

Requirements to participate:  Access to a computer, or other device, with a camera. 

This course is offered free through funding from the Province of British Columbia.
